The TaylorMade SLDR Mini Driver is a new breed of driver that can be beneficial to golfers of every skill level. It was designed to give players a choice between Driver and Fairway when on the tee box. This "Driver" has some of the same design features as the SLDR metalwoods, while including the distance-enhancing patented Speed Pocket. With a 260cc head it is slightly larger than the typical fairway, and over 40% smaller than SLDR 460. In addition to having a smaller head, the shaft is shorter as well for added club head control. The TP shaft is a heavier weight, closer to an actual fairway wood shaft and the standard shaft is lighter in weight closer to a driver shaft.
