The Titleist 907D2 driver is made for players with a more traditional taste. Compared to the 907D1, the D2 is more pear shaped like previous Titleist drivers. Made of 6-4 titanium the club head is large at 460cc, increasing Moment of Inertia so you don't lose as much distance on shots hit off-center. The beta-titanium face insert is tapered, with the top being thinner and more flexible while the bottom is thicker and more stable. This promotes less backspin and increases launch angle.
