Who’s It For?

XXIO has quickly created a solid market for itself by producing unique, premium, lightweight golf clubs. The XXIO Prime product line is even lighter to generate farther and straighter shots than previous XXIO releases. The driver features several unique characteristics, such as a high-toe, low-heel head design and the Super-Tix Forged Titanium Cup Face that generate farther and straighter tee shots. The XXIO Prime products, driver included, are engineered for golfers with low or moderate swing speeds looking for more distance and forgiveness without sacrificing accuracy.

The Tech Story

All of the new features in the XXIO Prime driver are engineered to produce easier launch, farther drives, and straighter trajectories for players with slower swing speeds. XXIO achieves this through unique shaping and weighting. Squaring the face at impact and resisting an unwanted fade or block has been made easier thanks to a higher toe, lower heel, and more upright lie angle. The club head is made of a thinner, stronger titanium material than previous XXIO drivers (0.7 millimeters thick compared to 1.0 millimeters) and includes a lighter Super-Tix Forged Titanium Cup Face to allow golfers to increase speed without consciously changing their swing. Additionally, the COR has been expanded across the entire face to increase the sweet spot by 103 percent to promote easy launch and more forgiveness. XXIO is also different from other manufacturers in that it makes its own shafts. The XXIO Prime shafts are two percent thinner to allow them to be increased in length by a half inch and maintain the overall weight of 36 grams, which is roughly 22 grams lighter than the average competitor. The center of gravity location is positioned low and back in the club head thanks to a 6.5-gram weight placed deep in the sole. This further promotes high launch and increases ball speed on contact made away from the center of the face.
