The Callaway Hawk Eye fairway wood is a light, titanium metal wood that has an optimized Center of Gravity for players that need help getting the ball airborne. The key to this low CG is the Tungsten Gravity screw placed in the middle of the sole. The low CG increases initial launch and decreases backspin for more carry distance and stronger trajectories. The club is more forgiving because of its larger size at 250cc and club head speed increases with a relatively lighter 300g head.
