Cobra Golf’s King LTD Fairway Wood plays extremely long and features some of the same technology as the King LTD Driver and is geared towards the better players. It features new technologies that can only be found in the King LTD line like their Spaceport and Spiralock. The Spaceport is a unique feature which allows the user to glance inside the driver to see the inner workings of the club; however it has dual purpose, the Spaceport is also a 10 gram weight designed to reposition the weight that was removed from the crown. By repositioning the weight Cobra nearly created a Zero CG Fairway Wood with a high MOI. The Spiralock is a locking thread system that prevents over tightening of the Spaceport or the loosening of it from vibrations at impact. In addition, the King LTD Fairway Wood also uses a carbon fiber crown. Cobra also brought back some other proven innovations that have made their golf clubs desired by all including their Speed Channel, MyFly8 with Smart Pad, and the Forged E9 Face using a forged 475 high strength stainless carpenter steel. Cobra didn’t hold back anything when making these fairway woods and now reaching the green on those long par 5’s in two is a possibility.
