The Ping i20 fairway woods are geared toward players who want workability, shot-shaping control and a lower launch angle, all wrapped into a traditionally styled package. Like its predecessors, these i-Series fairway woods are built to accommodate the needs of more advanced golfers while at the same time offering high forgiveness and playability. The i20 woods have a low, deep center of gravity and produce a mid-launching ball flight, substantially lower-launching than its counterpart, the G20. The more penetrating flight and low spin rates make for more roll after landing and increased distance. Though the materials and weighting provide a substantial amount of forgiveness, the i20 fairways emphasize control over shot-shaping and trajectory. The neutral head bias adds control over the i15 fairway, which has a fade bias.
