The PING Ti3 use multi-material construction to produce higher launch and increased carry distance. The body of the clubhead is made from strong, light titanium. The lighter head allows for faster clubhead speeds that produce faster ball speeds for greater distances. The soleplate of the club is made heavy tungsten and zirconium that lowers the Center of Gravity. This low CG raises the initial launch angle making it easier to get the ball into the air, up and out of any lie you may find yourself in.
