The TaylorMade RocketBallz Stage 2 Tour Fairway Wood is engineered for speed, distance, and meticulous tuning, primarily featuring an ultra-high strength TaylorMade RocketSteel face that is thin and faster-flexing. This speed is further amplified by an improved Speed Pocket design that flexes more quickly to boost ball velocity. The club achieves an optimal combination of faster ball speed, high launch, and low spin through a lower and more-forward Center of Gravity (CG), which is created by redistributing weight saved from the Thick-Thin Crown design. Furthermore, the club's performance is highly customizable via Loft-Sleeve technology, which provides 7 standard and 5 upright loft options, allowing the golfer to adjust the standard 14.5° loft by ±1.5°. Finally, a shallow face and low head profile increase playability, and the non-glare white crown and black clubface promote easy alignment.
