The improved Speed Pocket design allows for an exceptionally low-and-forward CG location, which is key to promoting faster ball speed and a desirable low-spin trajectory. Despite this forward weighting, the club retains playability due to its compact head size and shallow face, which facilitate easy launch from any lie. The club offers extensive fine-tuning via TaylorMade loft-sleeve technology, allowing for a ±1.5° loft change, with high loft options specifically working with the low-forward CG to promote a high launch and long carry.
