With the Stealth 2 fairway woods, TaylorMade includes some new technologies combined with some successful innovations from the past that deliver high ball speeds and superb forgiveness. The TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus fairway wood is designed for better players with faster swing speeds due to the compact head shape, lower spin, and increased adjustability.
The Tech Story
The TaylorMade Stealth 2 fairway woods are powered by Advanced Inverted Cone Technology, which consists of a variable thickness face design that maximizes ball speed across the entire face. The center of gravity is positioned very low thanks to some internal mass placed near the rear, which helps performance off the deck without sacrificing distance. And the Thru-Slot Speed Pocket, visible on the sole near the face, helps maintain performance on low-face strikes. Notable with the Stealth 2 Plus fairway wood is a 50-gram adjustable, sliding weight positioned in the sole. Moving the weight all the way back allows for more forgiveness and a higher launch, while moving the weight forward lowers launch and spin and promotes workability.
