Wilson Staff D7 Fairway Wood
Who’s It For?
Wilson Staff’s D7 produce line features Re-AKT technology, creating supreme forgiveness and distance. The D7 fairway wood is constructed similarly to the D7 driver, but has a different club face and internal crown structure to maintain a lightweight design. As is the case with the other Wilson Staff D7 products, the D7 fairway wood is built for golfers with a moderate or low swing speed seeking more distance and forgiveness.
The Tech Story
The D7 fairway wood from Wilson Staff is very similar to the other D7 products in that they are engineered to provide forgiveness and distance to a moderate or low swing speed player. The club face is made of Carpenter Custom 455 stainless steel and has been cut razor thin for an extremely hot surface and high ball speeds. The new crown construction of the D7 fairway woods includes thin cast pockets which add structure while minimizing overall weight to allow golfers to swing the club head faster. Additionally, these fairway woods feature re-AKT technology, which is the use of Kevlar in the construction to promote a lightweight design detailed specifically for golfers looking to increase forgiveness.
