Who’s It For?

Srixon has made significant leaps in the golf marketplace over the last few years, especially when it comes to irons. In 2023, Srixon released the ZX MK II iron family, designed to provide a clean, pleasing aesthetic paired with exceptional performance for all skill levels. A year later, they've released a limited edition version of those irons, only in a Black Chrome finish. The Srixon ZX5 MK II irons fall into the players-distance iron category, built to deliver a perfect blend of clean aesthetics, reliable forgiveness, and distance technologies to the low-to-mid handicap player.

The Tech Story

The new Srixon ZX5 MK II irons offer the perfect union of razor-sharp looks, power, and playability, combining a premium feel with advanced ball speeds. The MainFrame is a variable face thickness pattern of grooves, channels, and cavities that is carefully milled into the backside of the iron face in order to maximize face flexing at impact, promoting high ball speeds. The players-distance shape includes moderate blade lengths and offset that will please the eye of discerning players without sacrificing distance and forgiveness. Meanwhile, for more control, the ZX MK II irons feature progressive grooves. The 3-iron through 7-iron include wide grooves that are best for longer shots in all conditions, while the 8-iron through wedge have deeper, closer set grooves that offer more control and spin. And of course, all of the ZX MK II feature Srixon’s Tour VT Sole, a unique sole shaping that allows for clean turf interaction in any conditions or lie.
