The TaylorMade 2025 P790 Designer Series Iron Set is a technological powerhouse designed for golfers who seek a blend of performance and sophisticated aesthetics. It features a new Battle Worn finish that provides an elegant, understated look. The feel has been substantially improved through individual head optimization and modal analysis, which, when combined with SpeedFoam™ Air, creates a forged feel with an explosive sensation at impact. To deliver more speed and consistency, the irons debut an all-new ultra-high-strength, high-speed forged face material, 4340M, which is 20% stronger than previous generations. This allows for a thinner face, leading to faster ball speeds and an increased sweet spot size of up to 24%. Increased distance with improved gapping is achieved through the faster face, individual head optimization, and FLTD CG™, which strategically positions the center of gravity lowest in the long irons for enhanced launch and playability and progressively shifts higher in the scoring clubs for better spin and control. The refined shaping includes a thinner topline for a cleaner look at address and an increased sole radius with a progressive leading edge, designed for consistent turf interaction and improved impact location.
