In terms of profile, the P790 Ti irons are fairly similar to the P790s. However, the P790 Ti irons do feature a slightly taller face, longer blade length, and more offset than its counterpart. This makes these irons more inviting for golfers who don’t strike their iron shots in the center of the clubface every time. Due to this, the TaylorMade P790 Ti irons are a terrific option for golfers of all skill levels and handicaps.
The Tech Story
TaylorMade’s P790 Ti irons feature clubheads that were constructed using premium materials that are unrivaled in quality across the golf industry. This was done to make the P790 Ti irons the leader in the competitive players distance irons category. The irons also feature Visible Tungsten Weighting. Tungsten is locked into the back bar of each individual iron which lowers the amount of spin the club produces while increasing its club’s launch and forgiveness. The TaylorMade P790 Ti irons boast SpeedFoam Technology, a light foam that is injected into each clubface. This gives the golfer a tremendous amount of assistance in terms of generating ball speed without forcing them to sacrifice feel. The hollow-body construction made of 9-1-1 Ti and a 6-4 Ti clubface creates explosive distance and forgiveness and delivers a firm feel and sound.
