Titleist’s AP1 Line has been a staple in the Golf Industry for the past 8 years; known as a game improvement set with unmatched distance, forgiveness and playability. The 716 AP1 Irons in those aspects are still present but Titleist has tweaked this line to take them to the next level. The 716 AP1’s feature an extreme 360° undercut cavity which creates a thin unsupported face that increases ball speed and launch. The tungsten weights are placed low and to the perimeter to push the CG down and increase MOI which helps keeps shots on line when struck off center as well as get the ball airborne.
