The Tech Story
Bettinardi is somewhat unique in that the company doesn’t believe in face inserts, a putter construction technique that is popular among many other brands. Instead, all of Bettinardi’s putters include precision-milled faces that deliver superb feel and added distance control. The BB1 features the all-new Super-Fly face milling, which was developed by a less aggressive tool to produce the smoothest, most responsive face milling Bettinardi has ever created. The BB1 also includes premium components in order to drive premium performance, such as a Tour grade putter shaft that has been tested and engineered to provide the player with added stability and stiffer structure to promote a constant weight throughout the swing arc. Additionally, Lamkin’s SINKFit putter grip presents a more contoured shape to promote proper wrist alignment for a more controlled, consistent putting stroke. Golfers will also find a clean black on black finish that was only offered in limited numbers.
