Bettinardi BB54 Putter
The Bettinardi BB54 Putters come in three different models: the BB54 Heel-Shaft, BB54 Center-Shaft and the BB54 Heel-Shaft Belly putter. Each model has different weighting specs, but all three come equipped with the 2012 BB54 putter head. This putter head is a revamp on the Bettinardi Baby Bee Accelerator model, which gained popularity after a great showing in the 2003 US Open at Olympia Fields, IL. The true point of departure from the Baby Bee Accelerator model is the Weighted Port on the BB54, which is fixed to the back of the putter. This port gives the putter additional weight (40% of the putter’s entire weight, to be exact) that directly behind the ball at impact, giving this putter a soft, well-balanced feel and sound.
