Who’s It For?
Bettinardi is known for building some of the best milled putters in the world. New from Bettinardi in 2020 is the INOVAI 7.0 model, which is a modern mallet style clubhead constructed with multiple materials in order to deliver the best combination of feel, performance, and aesthistics. The INOVAI 7.0 clubhead is available with three different neck types: Spud, Slant, and Center. The Spud neck offers very little toe hang and is best suited for golfers with only a slight arc or no arc in their putting strokes. The Slant neck is for golfers with noticeable arc in their putting strokes. And the Center-shaft design will work best for golfers with a straight or slightly arced putting stroke.
The Tech Story
The INOVAI 7.0 clubhead design shape is a bit unorthodox at first glance, but it’s all about delivering high MOI. The stability and forgiveness provided by adding weight behind the clubface, particularly behind the heel and toe areas, improves performance when the ball is not struck in the center of the face. The head is also precision-milled to 358 grams from 303 stainless steel and 6061 military grade aluminum. These materials, in combination with the F.I.T. Face Milling pattern, deliver an incredibly soft feel at impact. Additionally, the modern mallet design featuring a platinum and cobalt blue provides an excellent aesthetic for a high-performance putter.
