Here we have a carbon steel MA/99 done in Bad Guy Black Oxide with simple stamping in the cavity. It also has LaMont’s 5-dot on the heel, milled into a large bomb that is a method rarely done on non-customer ordered builds. The hosel is a short slant, CNC Milled neck with sweet milling left in place. Face milling on this rascal is a “Large Medium Circles over a tight milling”, according to LaMont and should have a smooth, solid feel at impact. The addition of a sound slot cut in the sole, thru the flange of this little gem may give it just a bit more sound when rolling that twenty-five footer. It is shafted with a KBS steel shaft and cut to 34”, currently. If a new length is desired, please specify and LaMont has stated that he is happy to make the adjustment, prior to shipping.
