Notes:
The MA77 that you see is one of LaMont’s favorite classic designs, with his own personal twists added in. This one has a hand-crafted Tombstone neck welded directly on the top line with no drop down at the heel, which is sometimes seen. He has this head milled using USA-sourced 303 Stainless Steel and does all hand shaping, face milling and Torch finishes right inside his small shop at the Scottsdale 2nd Swing Store. For this one, the face milling chosen was a Medium Tight Barbed Wire and it looks amazing with the bluish finish that graces this stainless head. The MA77 is a recent design for LaMont and this is his first run of a head-style like this in many years. As such, he has stamped “1st Run” on the heel-cap to signify it as such. Paint fill has been kept white to let the colors in the finish be what draws your eyes. It has a sight line in the short flange and a single shamrock stamped on the toe-end of the sole. It is shafted with a steel shaft and cut to 34-1/2”, currently. If a new length is desired, please specify and LaMont has stated that he is happy to make the adjustment, prior to shipping.
