Ping Nome TR Putter
The 2013 PING Nome TR Putter is the latest offering from the seminal putter maker. The Nome TR Putter features the True Roll face insert PING introduced with the previous year’s offering, the Scottsdale TR Series putters. The True Roll insert is a new innovation, PING says, the first in the industry. PING designers and engineers use ‘variable-depth’ technology to create the TR putter insert. The depth of these expertly crafted grooves varies from the center of the face, expanded outward toward the heel and toe. This effectively increases distance consistency, especially on off-center strikes; PING research says up to 50% for the average player. The Nome TR Putter also features an adjustable shaft, which allows players to adjust anywhere from 31” to 38” on the standard-length model.
