Titleist Scotty Cameron Champions Choice Newport Plus Putter

Who’s It For?

Scotty Cameron is recognized as one of the most influential putter designers in the history of golf. It’s practically a weekly ritual at this point that a Scotty Cameron putter is used to sink the final putt to win a PGA Tour or LPGA Tour event. In 2021, Titleist offered a limited release of putters to celebrate major victories won with Scotty Cameron putters. Now in 2023, Titleist is once again releasing a limited run of Champions Choice putters that build on the popularity of the original release. These putters are designed with the hardcore Scotty Cameron fan in mind, specifically those who enjoy the classic Newport designs. 

The Tech Story

Each of the Scotty Cameron Champions Choice models is crafted with a solid precision milled 303 stainless steel and expertly fused Teryllium face insert, both of which provide an elegant appearance and a soft feel. Meanwhile, the traditional elastomer of original Button Backs has been supplemented with the addition of a high-tech vibration dampening material placed between the Teryllium inlay and the putter head that provides superb feel and feedback. The Newport Plus Button Back model, specifically, is crafted slightly wider than the standard Newport design, featuring an I-beam style plumbing neck with a 6061 aircraft grade aluminum sole plate engineered for proper balance and weight distribution.
