Who’s It For

Scotty Cameron’s new Concept X putters were created for players who enjoy everything that blades have to offer from a feel and balance standpoint but with all of the added forgiveness advantages that come with a higher-MOI mallet design. The Concept X CX-02 features a new Joint Neck hosel design that will provide golfers with more toe flow than the CX-01 model. The near maximum toe flow will be similar to what the iconic Newport 2.5 blade offers and will work best for players who have more pronounced arcs in their putting stroke.

The Tech Story

Unique to the new Concept X putters are wings that offer a fast, sleek look at address and have been used for the distribution of discretionary weight to provide improved performance in terms of speed and distance on off-center strikes. Additionally, a new dual-zone vibration dampening system has been implemented in the construction of the face and sole to offer players a soft, pleasing sound and feel at impact. Concept X putters also feature four-way sole balancing, which was introduced by Scotty Cameron in the 2018 Select line. The balance point in the sole of each Concept X putter has been moved slightly forward to account for the weight of the shaft and the grip, which enables the putter to sit square at address and help players improve their alignment and setup position. Adjustable weights in the sole also allow golfers to create the exact feel that they’re looking for during the stroke, and a new Stealth Gray finish not only looks elegant and modern but also reduces glare in sunny conditions.
