New for 2020, Cameron has created the Special Select series, which are inspired by some of classic milled designs that have been loved by players for decades. The Special Select Newport 2 is one of the most famous head shapes from Cameron and includes medium toe flow to work best for golfers with moderate arc in their putting strokes.

The Tech Story

The Special Select putters from Titleist and Scotty Cameron are meticulously crafted to deliver premium feel and performance through several key features. Cameron has sought the feedback of tour professionals and updated the shaping, which now include sleeker designs with thinner, flatter toplines. Each putter is milled from stainless steel with no face insert to provide that excellent playability with consistent sound and feel. The blade models are built with a new soft tri-sole design that promotes a better setup at address. Each Special Select model also includes refined performance balanced weighting, which consists of more weight added to the heel and toe areas of each putter to expand the sweet spot area. The blades are equipped with tungsten sole weights, while the mid-mallets come equipped with stainless steel sole weights. The Newport 2 model has also seen a refinement to its neck configuration, featuring a shorter plumbing neck design that delivers medium toe flow to best work for golfers with a moderate arc in their putting strokes.
