Who’s It For?

The Toulon Design Alcatraz DB Putter is designed for golfers with a very shallow putting stroke arc who prefer a face-balanced putter. As the largest mallet in the 2025 collection, the Alcatraz offers high MOI for increased forgiveness thanks to its milled aluminum sole plate and perimeter weighting. The double bend hosel configuration minimizes toe flow. The putter also features a streamlined design with soft radii, front-loaded weights for consistent ball speed, and a Deep Tuna Face Mill for enhanced feel and sound.

The Tech Story

The 2025 Toulon Collection Series of putters focuses on "soft" in look, sound, and feel. Every existing model has been redesigned (including the Alcatraz Double Bend), with five new models added, featuring refined radii, edges, and top lines for enhanced beauty and performance. The new Anthracite finish, with varying satin and milled textures, complements the softened designs. A new Heritage Blue and White color scheme with Italian Racing Red accents completes the aesthetic. Feel is improved through the use of softer 304 stainless steel, modified face thicknesses, and a new Deep Tuna/Small Tuna face milling pattern. Sound, considered crucial for distance control, is also addressed by the face milling, which channels vibration to minimize sound perceived by the golfer. The goal is to harmonize feel, sound, and ball speed for a controlled, consistent, and rewarding putting experience.
