The Adams Idea irons are great for players that need extra forgiveness and distance from their iron set. The 2014 Idea iron set actually combines hybrids, hybrid-irons, and game-improvement irons to increase playability and optimize distance gaps throughout the entire set. Designed for high handicappers, the irons feature a wrap-around slot that make mis-hits more forgiving, especially off the toe. To increase distance and launch angles Adams added a Velocity Slot on the crown and a Cut-Thru Slot in the sole. These slots allow the face to flex more at impact leading to faster ball speeds and higher launch so you get the ball into the air easier.
