The Callaway X-22 Tour irons are a great option for the mid range handicapper with the performance and feel you want with just a touch of added forgiveness and distance. The Perimeter Notch weighting of the club makes it more stable on off-center hits. This stability maintains ball speeds for shots hit off center and reduces the unwanted side spin. The head itself is smaller with the thinnest topline possible without getting rid of the Undercut Cavity that also adds forgiveness.
