Cobra F-Max Superlite Single Iron
Who’s It For
Cobra’s new FMAX Superlite irons have been created as a lightweight design that helps players with average and slower swing speeds produce more distance and higher launch, making it easier to hit more greens, which is a key to scoring. If you’re someone who’s looking for an iron that’s easier to swing and will produce that type of playability, the FMAX Superlite irons could be a great option for your game.
The Tech Story
A lightweight construction from grip to clubhead that includes 15 grams of weight savings over previous generation FMAX irons is what drives the performance of the new Superlite irons. Additionally, discretionary weight has been repositioned low and deep in the heel and toe regions of the clubhead to create higher MOI and improved results on off-center strikes, both in terms of distance and accuracy. Progressive hosel lengths and offset have also been utilized through the set to optimize performance with each club, making the long and mid irons easier to launch high and the short irons easier to control for scoring shots. An undercut cavity has also been implemented in the design to further aid with launch conditions and ball speed, and a premium chrome plating has been chosen to provide a classic, elegant look that will also provide exceptional durability.
