With a clean premium look, the PING i530 irons are a perfect blend between a players iron and game improvement iron. The i530’s are a true players distance iron that provide workability, distance and forgiveness. Those qualities make the i530’s a fit for golfers of all skill levels, but especially for mid to high-handicaps that are looking to take their game to the next level.
The Tech Story
The PING i530’s are PING’s longest players distance iron to date. A cascading sole design and thinner face-to-sole transition contribute to higher ball speed, which helped the i530’s hit the ball 3 yards farther than previous PING players distance irons. The hollow-body design with a forged maraging steel face provides forgiveness across the i530’s face. Its clean premium look comes from a combination of its thin top line, narrow sole, shallow face height and hydropearl 2.0 chrome finish. Adding to that look is a precision-milled back surface made of 17-4 stainless steel along with its forged face. The i530’s come in three different specs: Standard, Power (Stronger lofted), and Retro (Weaker Lofted)
