New in 2020 is the P7MB irons, a true muscle back blade design that will cater to the preferences of the most skilled ball strikers that prefer the most compact clubhead shapes. Golfers seeking the most workability and control over their shots in a traditional appearance will enjoy the P7MB irons.
The Tech Story
The P7MB irons feature a tour-inspired shape that has been designed after gathering feedback from some of the world’s best players, including several players on TaylorMade’s tour staff. The result is an iron with a thin topline, progressive offset, and a narrow sole. The P7MBs are built through TaylorMade’s Compact Grain Forging process from 1025 carbon steel for a tighter, more compact grain structure designed to provide the most solid and consistent feel possible. Additionally, the grooves on the clubface are machined to guarantee precision and promote ultimate shot-making ability. TaylorMade’s Faceted Muscle Back Geometry created a backbar blend of traditional and contemporary looks that looks exceptional at address and in the bag.
