The Titleist DCI 981 SL irons are for players that want solid feel and have slower swing speeds. The DCI 981 SL irons have stronger lofts (SL) to increase distance from slower swing speeds. These irons are cast from 431 stainless steel and feature increased offset, sole width and a lower Center of Gravity than the standard DCI 981 irons. The set also features a progressive cavity back and two different hosel lengths to produce higher shots with long irons and more controllable launch angle with the short irons.
