Who’s It For?

The Exotics C721 Iron is one of Tour Edge’s two iron set releases for 2021. Billed as an ultra-premium player’s distance iron, the C721s pack a major punch in the ball speed department. However, Tour Edge ensured that the irons retained plenty of forgiveness to ensure that golfers can take advantage of the C721’s distance gains even on off-center strikes. While these irons are certainly playable for golfers of all skill levels, middle- and low-handicap golfers will most appreciate the C721 clubhead’s smaller, classic aesthetic.

The Tech Story

The headlining innovation in the Exotics C721 irons from Tour Edge is Dual VibRCore Technology. During the engineering process, Tour Edge injected their proprietary performance gel VibRCore into each iron’s hollow-body pocket. This gel works together with a thick, yet light TPU layer to dampen sound and shock while increasing ball speed. The irons also feature Full-Face Diamond Face 2.0 technology, 103 different diamond shapes behind the face that act as mini-trampolines and further increase distance across the clubface. Finally, the Exotics C721’s L-Cup Face creates a thin, spring-like leading edge that dramatically increases forgiveness on strikes off the heel or the toe.
