The Mizuno T22 is a one-piece, grain-flow forged wedge available in a wide variety of lofts and bounces due to its four grind options. The S-Grind offers minimal heel and toe relief, making it the highest-bounce grind of the four available. The D-Grind sports moderate heel and toe relief and is the grind that will suit most middle handicap golfers. The C-Grind features heavy heel and toe relief, aspects that make the grind ideal for skilled golfers. Finally, the X-Grind boasts extreme heel, toe, and leading edge relief, meaning only the golfers with elite short games.
The Tech Story
Mizuno created every single T22 Wedge at their famed Hiroshima, Japan factory from One-Piece Grain Flow Forged HD Boron. The manufacturer also designed the wedges with more compact teardrop profiles, further enhancing their beauty at address. Thanks to new HydroFlow Micro Grooves, the T22 Wedge sees a minimal dropoff in performance in wet conditions. Mizuno tweaked the upper portion of the blade to create their new Spin Weighted Blade Design, which creates more spin than ever and ensures a penetrating trajectory.
