TaylorMade’s new Milled Grind 3 wedges offer new technology to provide golfers with unmatched spin and control around the greens in addition to precision on full shots. Important for golfers to pay attention to with the Milled Grind 3 wedges is the multitude of loft and bounce options. Typically, lower bounce options will better fit golfers that have a shallow angle of attack (little to no divot) or golfers playing on firmer conditions. On the other hand, higher bounce options will fit golfers with a steeper attack angle (larger divots) and those playing in softer conditions.
The Tech Story
TaylorMade’s wedge game received a boost with the Milled Grind 3 wedges, which feature a new Raw Face technology that omits plating from the face for better spin and feel. New in the MG3 wedges is Raised Micro-Ribs, positioned between the full grooves, for added texture on the face. They are designed to elevate spin and improve performance on short game shots. Additionally, the Milled Grind sole, a staple of TaylorMade wedges, provides consistency and clean turf interaction. The ZTP Raw Groove design has delivered sharper, deeper, and narrower grooves on the Milled Grind 3 wedges compared to past models.
