Cam Davis' Winning Bag | 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic
If the Rocket Mortgage Classic wasn’t already Cam Davis’ favorite Tour stop it has to be now as both of the 29-year-old Austrailian’s PGA Tour wins have come at the Michigan event following his one-stroke victory on Sunday. Davis finished his final round with the clubhouse lead and narrowly avoided going to a playoff after Akshay Bhatia bogeyed the 72nd hole to give Davis his 2nd career win.
Davis is unique among players these days as he plays just one brand, Titleist, throughout his entire bag.

Driver: Titleist TSR3 (9 degrees, B3 SureFit setting)
Shaft: Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 7 X
Starting off Davis’ bag is a Titleist TSR3 driver. Davis plays it at 9 degrees and in the B3 SureFit Hosel setting with a Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 7 X shaft in it. The B3 setting adds 2 degrees of loft and more draw to his driver by playing the driver 1 degree upright. Davis was solid with each facet of his bag, ranking in the top 30 in all Strokes Gained categories. His off-the-tee game was still good, but didn’t perform nearly as well as the rest of his bag. He was 28th in Driving Distance, averaging 301.6 yards off the tee, and very accurate, finding 43 of 56 fairways, tied for 7th best in the tournament. This led Davis to gaining 1.27 strokes on the field from the tee, which was 28th best overall.
3-wood: Titleist TSR3 (15 degrees)
Shaft: Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 8 X
Davis stays with the same model for his fairway wood with a Titleist TSR3, but changes the settings in his SureFit Hosel, going with a B2 in his 3-wood, instead of the the B3. The B2 is standard loft at 15 degrees, but is a degree upright to give him some draw bias in his 3-wood.
Irons: Titleist T100 (3), Titleist 620 CB (4-PW)
Shafts: KBS Tour V 120 X
For his irons, Davis combos a Titleist T100 3 Iron with some Titleist 620 CB’s and plays the KBS Tour V 120 X shafts throughout. His iron play was excellent during his win. He hit 57 of the 72 greens in regulation, which was tied for 20th best, and that helped him to a 12th place finish in Strokes Gained Approach to Green, gaining 4.352 strokes on the field from his approach.
Wedges: Titleist Vokey Design SM10 (52-12F, 56-14F), WedgeWorks (60-04L)
Shafts: True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400
Moving to the wedges where Davis games the Vokey SM10 for his gap and sand wedge and then a Vokey WedgeWorks 60 degree. While the wedges played their part in his approach performance, they were very good around the green as well. He got up-and-down on 11 of his 15 scramble opportunities, including a perfect 2 for 2 from the sand. Davis gained 3.052 strokes on the field around the green, which was 9th best in the tournament.
Davis games a Scotty Cameron TourType Special Select Masterful Prototype for his putter. His Scotty Cameron blade was also solid throughout the tournament. He was 16th in Putts per GIR, averaging 1.72 putts when he found the green in regulation. While he wasn’t draining putts from distance, making just 69 feet of putts, which was 43rd best, his proximity to the hole helped immensely as he gained 3.677 strokes on the field from the putting surface, which was 19th best overall.
