While weather may have shortened the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, it didn’t take away from Wyndham Clark’s sensational tournament, where he broke the course and tournament record with a 12-under 60 in the 3rd round, which propelled him to the lead, and after weather forced the tournament to end after 54 holes, led him to victory.

Clark primarily plays with Titleist clubs, but also had three other manufacturers in his winning bag.

Clark games a Titleist TSR3 driver, playing it at 9 degrees with a Project X HZRDUS Smoke Green 60 6.5 TX shaft. Clark was dialed in throughout his bag, but setting the rest of his game up to score was key, and the driver played a major role in that. Clark finished 11th in Strokes Gained off the Tee, and 3rd in driving distance, averaging more than 310 yards off the tee.

The first non-Titleist club in Clark’s bag is his 3-wood, where he uses the new TaylorMade Qi10. Built for a wide range of players, the Qi10 has higher MOI (more forgiving) and a neutral ball flight. Its higher launch also makes it an ideal club to attack par 5’s in two, and definitely played its part in Clark leading the field in eagles, with 3 during the tournament.

Irons: Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi (Driving Iron), Titleist 620 CB (4-9)

Clark plays the new Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi Driving Iron in place of a 3-iron. The new Pro Fli-Hi features added weight in low in the head, which helps it launch the ball higher compared to traditional long irons, giving Clark another option off the tee, as well as into greens from distance.

Clark goes back to Titleist for the rest of his irons, rocking the Titleist 620 CB’s. Clark’s iron play was solid throughout the tournament, finishing 20th in Strokes Gained Approach to Green. During his record-setting third round, he finished 3rd in Strokes Gained Approach to Green, while finding every green but 2 en route to a 12-under 60.

For his wedges, Clark plays the new Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges for his pitching wedge, gap wedge and sand wedge, while using a Vokey WedgeWorks for his 60-degree lob wedge. With his distance off the tee, wedges were used often throughout the tournament, helping him finish in the upper echelon in Strokes Gained Approach to Green.

Playing a modern version of one of the hottest putters on tour last year, Clark rolls a Odyssey Ai-One Jailbird on the greens. This club was the difference maker for him all week, and especially during his record-setting third round. He led the field in Strokes Gained Putting, Putts per Green in Regulation, and finished 2nd in total putts. During his record-setting round on Saturday, Clark needed just 23 putts total, and these weren’t gimmies either, as he made over 180 feet of putts during his round. Tour average is about 80 feet of putts made per round for comparison.
