THE TSR SERIES

TITLEIST: TSR SERIES
DRIVERS

The Titleist Speed Project has been providing significant performance gains for golfers in the drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids dating back to the TS line. New in 2022 is the TSR series of drivers and fairway woods, which aim to refine the technology introduced in the TSi line and deliver even better results on the course.

TSR1 Driver
Ultra-Lightweight Build

The new Titleist TSR metalwood family has been an enormous win in the 2nd Swing fitting bays already. Now, Titleist has added to the TSR family with the release of the TSR1 metals, which include the TSR1 driver, TSR1 fairway wood, and TSR1 hybrid. These clubs have been specifically engineered for players with moderate swing speeds, which is roughly 90 miles per hour or lower with the driver. According to Titleist, roughly a third of all golfers worldwide fall into this category, so the TSR1 performance is beneficial for a huge range of players.

The Titleist TSR1 driver offers many of the same technologies as the TSR2 model, including Multi-Plateau Variable Face Thickness that delivers ball speed retention all over the face. However, the TSR1 driver is an ultra-lightweight build in comparison thanks to a lighter head weight, 40-gram shaft, and a lightweight grip. Reducing weight with these components and a new aerodynamic shape help golfers swing the TSR1 faster through the air and create more potential distance.

TSR2 Driver
Maximum Speed And Stability

The new Titleist TSR2 is slimmed down and ramped up to deliver faster, longer, and straighter tee shots. Forgiveness has been enhanced by a new Multi-Plateau VFT face, which boosts ball speed across the entire surface area of the clubface and maintains performance on off-center strikes. Meanwhile, the aerodynamics are also improved through a new player-preferred shape. It presents a smaller footprint than other drivers in its category, such as the TSi2, and refined toe shape and a cleaner sole decrease drag on the downswing for faster club speed.

TSR3 Driver
Precision-Tuned Players Driver

The new Titleist TSR3 is built for ultimate fine-tuned performance. The sweet spot has been enhanced by a new Speed Ring VFT face, which boosts ball speed in a larger central area of the face and maximizes the CT/COR through conical variable face thickness. Also, Titleist’s SureFit Hosel returns once again in the TSR series, offering 16 unique loft and lie settings that allow golfers to fine-tune their ball flight for their optimal spin and launch.

TSR4 Driver
Ultimate Low-Spin Driver

The new Titleist TSR4 is the ultimate low-spin driver, designed to generate roughly 250-300 RPMs less spin than the TSR3 driver. New in the TSR4 is Adjustable Spin Control, which consists of fore and aft weighting options to allow golfers to experiment with maximum spin reduction or a more moderate profile that would create a TSR3.5 driver profile.

2023 T Series Irons

Titleist: 2023 T Series
IRONS

Over the last couple of decades, Titleist has become a go-to brand in golf for players seeking better iron performance. And recently, Titleist has improved upon the variety of models it produces to make sure every type of golfer can get better performance. New in 2023 is the latest generation of the Titleist T-Series irons, which features four new iron models each designed with specific characteristics to help golfers shoot lower scores.

2023 T100 Irons
The Modern Tour Iron

Titleist calls the 2023 T100 the “modern tour iron.” The T100 is the most popular iron on tour, played by a number of the world’s best ball strikers. Refinements from the previous model include dual-cavity forged construction and an updated and enhanced back bar that produces an even more solid feel at impact. Informed by modal testing and tour input, the new models are tuned to provide the same sensation and stability desired by the world’s best from a well-struck shot.

2023 T150 Irons
The Faster Tour Irons

The new Titleist T150 irons are what Titleist calls “the faster tour irons.” The T150 irons feature many of the same characteristics as the T100 irons, including the shape and appearance at address as well as the soft, buttery feel. What separates the T150 is the Muscle Channel, which has been refined to position closer to the face for even more solid feel. Dense D18 tungsten weighting has been precisely placed in each iron to promote the ideal launch conditions and stability.

2023 T200 Irons
Forgiveness Without Compromise

The new Titleist T200 irons are for the player who wants added distance and forgiveness without compromising on looks, feel, trajectory, or stopping power. The internal structure has been completely redesigned to feature a more stable chassis and refined Max Impact Technology, both of which greatly improve the sound and feel at impact – not to mention the added forgiveness.

2023 T350 Irons
The Ultimate Game Improvement Iron

Titleist has called the new T350 iron “the ultimate game-improvement iron” which is a lot to live up to. However, the T350 irons deliver the goods. New levels of performance and feel are driven by the new multi-material, hollow-body construction, directly inspired by T200’s chassis. In other words, the T350 behaves like a big brother to the T200, offering more explosiveness in a slightly bigger package, but retaining the T200 feel.

High Launch + Easy Distance

The Titleist TSR1 fairway wood is the highest launching Titleist fairway wood and is designed specifically for those tricky shots off awkward lies. At 180cc, the TSR1 fairway includes a larger footprint than the TSR2, but at 20 grams lighter and with a deeper center of gravity placement to provide easier launch.

TSR2 Fairways
High Launch, High Forgiveness

The new Titleist TSR2 fairway wood is built to deliver high, far, and forgiving performance through an easy-to-hit profile. The key innovation driving the TSR2 performance is the ultra-low, face-centered center of gravity location, which is the lowest center of gravity location ever in a Titleist fairway wood. This delivers fast, high, pure ball flights without excessive backspin.

TSR2+ Fairways
Tour-Inspired, Draw-Biased Profile

The new Titleist TSR2+ fairway wood is built to deliver tour-inspired, high-launching performance primarily off the tee. However, the deep, face-centered center of gravity also allows golfers to launch it off the turf with ease with a pure ball flight. However, the club will provide the most benefit off the tee thanks to a larger profile and a standard loft of 13°.

TSR3 Fairway
Powerful and Adjustable

The new Titleist TSR3 fairway wood is built for ultimate precision-tuned performance. The key innovation driving the TSR3 performance is the low, face-centered center of gravity location. This location is closer to the face and provides more forgiveness and an easier, higher launch. The SureFit CG Track has also been refined to deliver more adjustability options to the tinkerer, increasing the number of settings from 3 to 5.

Hybrids

THE TSR SERIES

TITLEIST: TSR SERIES
HYBRIDS

Titleist hybrids have been the most played on the PGA Tour for nearly a decade, so the release of the Titleist TSR2 hybrid and Titleist TSR3 hybrid comes with significant anticipation. Titleist has set a high standard in the hybrid category, but it appears they’ve reset the standard with the TSR family. Each Titleist TSR hybrid features several technologies to deliver consistently fast ball speeds and smooth turf interaction. Notable in both models is the addition of sole relief pockets designed to move the club faster through all turf conditions. Less surface area on the sole leads to less friction, or less chance to grab.

TSR1 Hybrids
Max Speed + MOI

The new Titleist TSR metalwood family has been an enormous win in the 2nd Swing fitting bays already. Now, Titleist has added to the TSR family with the release of the TSR1 metals, which include the TSR1 driver, TSR1 fairway wood, and TSR1 hybrid. These clubs have been specifically engineered for players with moderate swing speeds, which is roughly 90 miles per hour or lower with the driver.

According to Titleist, roughly a third of all golfers worldwide fall into this category, so the TSR1 performance is beneficial for a huge range of players. Titleist delivered the goods with the TSR1 hybrid as well. The hybrid can be the most important club (or clubs) in the bag for many golfers in the moderate swing speed category, so Titleist made sure to achieve more speed and higher MOI. A larger “wood-type” clubhead allows for a deeper center of gravity. Despite a larger clubhead volume, the TSR1 hybrid’s swingweight is not increased compared to the TSi1. Plus, the TSR1 hybrid shafts utilize a .335 fairway tip and are a half inch longer than prior models for increased spin and launch.

TSR2 Hybrids
Versatile, Classic Shape

The TSR2 hybrid features a classic hybrid shape with a slightly longer blade length than the TSR3, offering more forgiveness. Additionally, the TSR2 includes a deeper center of gravity for higher-launching shots and soft-landing approaches. Overall, the shape will suit the widest range of skill levels and provides the most benefit for players who swing the hybrid with a sweeping motion.

TSR3 Hybrids
Iron-Like Accuracy, Workability

The TSR3 hybrid, meanwhile, feature an iron-like profile that is inspired by the successful predecessors. A reduction in offset enhances workability, to allow shot-shapers to create the shot necessary. The TSR3 hybrids also include a higher inertia body that prevents deflection and twist when playing from awkward conditions or lies. Through added adjustability and a flatter trajectory, the TSR3 hybrid is best suited for better players or perhaps players with a high ball flight needing more control.
