TaylorMade Stealth Driver

Who’s It For?

The new TaylorMade Stealth driver line throws a major curveball at the golf world. For decades, titanium has been the dominant material used by manufacturers while creating drivers for consumers and professionals, alike. However, the TaylorMade Stealth drivers have flipped convention on its head by rolling out clubheads constructed from carbon, a decision that will surely create ripples throughout the industry. The TaylorMade Stealth Driver produces a mid-high launch with mid-low spin numbers, making it an ideal fit for a wide range of handicaps.

The Tech Story

With a new 60X Carbon Twist Face, the TaylorMade Stealth Driver’s clubface is 44% lighter than traditional titanium faces, increasing ball speeds and distance numbers dramatically. Also, the Stealth’s clubface boasts a nanotexture cover that optimizes launch and spin numbers, no matter the playing conditions. The carbon construction allowed for weight savings that TaylorMade engineers repositioned lower and deeper in the clubhead. The weight shift increased the driver’s MOI, making it a highly forgiving weapon off of the tee. Finally, the TaylorMade Stealth Driver’s Thru-Slot Speed Pocket design makes the driver extremely hot without sacrificing that added forgiveness, particularly on low face strikes.
