These irons are constructed using Mizuno’s patented Grain Flow Forging Process, an industry innovation that has put them on top. The Grain Flow Forging process consists of several stages of re-heating and re-working of the forging blank, producing the most consistent metal structure available in irons production. This forging process results in a softer, more consistent feeling iron for better control and feedback. These clubs are forged in the heart of Hiroshima, Japan, in the same forging facility Mizuno has been using to produce their irons for over 40 years.
