Who’s It For?
The TaylorMade HiToe Raw Wedges are a unique spin on the hugely-popular HiToe Wedges that found themselves in the bags of numerous PGA Tour stars. The raw finish featured by these wedges is designed to rust over time, preserving consistent spin and control for years. This club is ideal for golfers who appreciate the look of a full-grooved, high-toed head and prefer their amount of bounce on the lower side.
The Tech Story
While the HighToe Raw’s aesthetic draws much attention, the wedge features a number of world-class innovations that make its performance first-rate. The Hi-Toe Raw Wedge also features a thinner topline, which gave TaylorMade’s engineers the chance to redistribute weight nearer to the top of the spine. This change optimized the center of gravity, lower launch, and increases spin, a combination that provides players with more control over their golf ball. Also of note, full-face scoring lines help produce more consistent results on shots played from the rough, and three pockets have been incorporated into the sole cavity to optimize weight distribution and help provide improved sound and feel at impact. While the TaylorMade HiToe Raw Wedge is indeed nice to look at, the shots it allows golfers to hit are even more eye-catching than its stylish finish.
