The Callaway Mack Daddy Wedges were designed by legendary wedge creator Roger Cleveland, however the PM Grind wedges, PM stands for Phil Mickelson, may have been created by Roger Cleveland as well but when it comes down to it Phil’s input completely shaped this wedge. As Phil Mickelson is known as “Lefty”, we know that Nickname could just as easily be “Shorty” because of Phil’s short game. Phil has done a great job of providing feedback that will give the rest of us a wedge we can use anywhere, anytime, and has the versatility for any shot you need to make. At first glance you will notice that the Toe extends much higher than any wedge you’re familiar with; Phil did for us so we can grab the ball better from the deep stuff and get more spin when needed. An additional feature that has yet to be seen elsewhere but when you first see the grooves that extend all the way to the toe, it just makes sense. Phil wanted the grooves extended because there a lot of shots that you may take with the face as open as possible which can often times lead you to hit the ball off the toe where no grooves were present before the Mack Daddy PM Grind Wedge.
