One of the LPGA’s biggest names won a tournament that honors one of the game’s greatest players, as Nelly Korda captured the Fir Hills Seri Pak Championship. Korda’s victory didn’t come easy though, as she bogeyed three of her final four holes, putting her in a playoff with Ryann O’Toole. But Korda quickly put that behind her with a birdie on the first playoff hole to secure the victory.

Korda is a TaylorMade staffer, and a majority of her bag was made up of TaylorMade clubs, except for her hybrid, lob wedge and putter.

Korda starts her bag off with TaylorMade newest driver series, opting for the Qi10 Max, which is the first TaylorMade driver to reach 10,000 inertia. It’s the most forgiving option among the three different models and it played up to that billing for Korda, as she hit over 73% of the fairways during the tournament.

Fairway Woods: TaylorMade Stealth 2 (3 + 5-Wood)

Moving into the fairway woods where Korda stays with TaylorMade, but goes back a generation as she uses a TaylorMade Stealth 2 for both her 3 and 5-woods. The Stealth 2 is a do-everything type of fairway wood with higher launch, more forgiveness and still plenty of ball speed. This gave Korda a multitude of ways to use these woods whether off-the-tee or attacking holes from a distance.

Hybrid: PING G425 (26 Degrees)

Korda’s first non-TaylorMade club in her bag is her PING G425 hybrid. She plays it at 26 degrees, so very similar to a 5-iron. This club provided perhaps the shot of the tournament for Korda as she found the green in 2 on the Par 5 14th, and was close enough to sink a short eagle putt.

Irons: TaylorMade P770 (5), TaylorMade P7MC (6-PW)

Interestingly, Korda plays a 26-degree hybrid, while also having a 5-iron in her bag, playing a TaylorMade P770 5-iron. This gives her a couple of options to play with from certain distances and allows her to choose which type of flight and spin she wants with that club. The rest of her irons are TaylorMade P7MC’s, which are true player's irons and they served Korda well as she found 68 percent of the greens in regulation for the tournament.

Wedges: TaylorMade MG4 (50, 54 Degrees), Titleist Vokey Design WedgeWorks (58 degree)

Korda splits up her wedges, gaming the TaylorMade MG4 for both her gap and sand wedge, while using a Vokey WedgeWorks for her lob wedge. These wedges played a key part, especially with her distance off the tee, in her GIR percentage throughout the tournament.

On the green Korda rolls a Scotty Cameron Special Select Squareback 2 Prototype Puter. She had been toying with a Logan Olson Prototype recently, but switched back to Scotty Cameron and that decision seems to be paying off. Korda averaged 28 putts per round over the course of the tournament. Putting had been an issue for Korda’s struggles to win tournaments in the past two years, but when she’s putting like she did this week, she will be hard to beat.
