Nelly Korda continues her hot start to the year with a third consecutive victory, this one at the Ford Championship. Korda trailed Carlota Ciganda and Sarah Schmelzel by two strokes heading into Sunday’s final round, but a bogey-free 65 allowed her to pass the leaders for her 11th career LPGA victory.

Korda is a TaylorMade staffer, and a majority of her bag was made up of TaylorMade clubs, except for her hybrid, lob wedge and putter.

Korda is no stranger to the winner’s circle, and her setup is pretty well known by now. Leading off her bag with the new TaylorMade Qi10 Max. Korda has averaged 263 yards off the tee for the season, but at the Ford Championship, she was swinging her driver well, averaging 270 off the tee, which would be about 16th best on the LPGA Tour this season. As for accuracy, Korda was a little better than her season average of 75.9 percent of fairways found, as she hit 76.7 percent of fairways for the tournament.

Fairway Woods: TaylorMade Stealth 2 (3 + 5-Wood)

Moving into the fairway woods where Korda stays with TaylorMade, but goes back a generation as she uses a TaylorMade Stealth 2 for both her 3 and 5-woods. The Stealth 2 is a do-everything type of fairway wood with higher launch, more forgiveness, and still plenty of ball speed. This gave Korda a multitude of ways to use these woods whether off-the-tee or attacking holes from a distance.

Hybrid: PING G425 (26 Degrees)

Korda’s first non-TaylorMade club in her bag is her PING G425 hybrid. She plays it at 26 degrees, so very similar to a 5-iron. The G425 hybrid is a high-launching, very forgiving option and gives Korda plenty of flexibility and versatility in her bag when it comes to attacking greens from distance.

Irons: TaylorMade P770 (5), TaylorMade P7MC (6-PW)

Korda combos a TaylorMade P770 5-iron with TaylorMade P7MC’s for her irons. She’s always been one of the best iron players on the LPGA tour and this season has been no different. She’s 3rd on the tour in Greens in Regulation percentage at a remarkable 77.1 percent. She was even better than that during this win, hitting just over 79 percent of the greens in regulation, which included hitting 30 of her final 36 greens.

Wedges: TaylorMade MG4 (50, 54 Degrees), Titleist Vokey Design WedgeWorks (58)

Korda splits up her wedges, gaming the TaylorMade MG4 for both her gap and sand wedge, while using a Vokey WedgeWorks for her lob wedge. With her distance, Korda uses these wedges often to attack greens and they played a significant part in her high GIR percentage.

Korda had been switching things up with her putter but has gone back to a Scotty Cameron Special Select Squareback 2 Prototype Putter and that switch has paid off. Korda is 56th on the LPGA Tour in putting average, hitting 29.56 putts per round this season. She was much better during this tournament, averaging 28 putts per round, and that included needing just 26 in Sunday’s round, which was the catalyst in her come-from-behind victory.
